Welcome to Concept: "Mobius"

This is a Sonic the Hedgehog site of a clearly different quality than most: it is small, sweet, yet has grown reputable for being chocked full of oddities that other Sonic sites seem to lack. Concept: "Mobius" is the definitive Sonic site to express the idealism of the fan. [read more]

You've arrived to the Links section of the site. Here, you will find links to other Sonic sites we find are deserving of some more promotion here on C:M. Although it won't help them, it'll give us the points for charity, that's for sure. This page will also contain links to Concept: "Mobius" in case you'd like to do the same on your own Sonic site. So yes, read on to see a bunch of very cool Sonic sites that our pathetic ass could never hope to affiliate with:

I've been to a lot of Sonic sites, but none of them delve into research of the video games and even Sonic Team themselves more fluently than The Green Hill Zone. Since 1997, The Green Hill Zone has always been there to provide highly in-depth articles on the Sonic Team franchise and has survived amongst the deaths of many other Sonic sites. Admittedly, a lot of the trivial facts on Concept: "Mobius" was information found on GHZ. The GHZ is the ideal website for those who want to learn all about the video games, and with its steadily growing Sonic Encyclopedia, it will also be a well-developed database of information on the Sonic Team universe. It was also quite a surprise for me to find out that even though the site is based on Japan's Sonic, it is not at all biased towards other portrayals (except maybe in its bitter forums). The GHZ sports detailed, well-written and comically engaging articles on each Sonic game and even other video games made by Sonic Team, a very impressive timeline of the Sonic Team franchise from start to now, and even an article about Sonic Team themselves. Each article contains very interesting trivial facts and the way they are laid out and how they're written just makes them very fun to read. The designer and writer of the site is also a real stand-up guy and has a sense of humor I really think is neat. His writing and very funny (and also very well-done) graphical contributions has given the GHZ a very cynical and witty humor-driven ambiance that would be most tasteful to the mature Sonic fan. All in all, The GHZ is the site recommended for those who want to find out everything there is to know about the Sonic games and Sonic Team while at the same time, enjoying a clever and intelligent reading environment.

The Sonic Cult is known far and wide for its game research articles. They contrast to how the above GHZ explains their video game articles. While The GHZ is much more informational about the games as they are, the Sonic Cult is dedicated entirely to researching and scope out the bits and pieces of unknown trivia, rare data and information, and things ranging from graphics and bits of media that were never implemented in the games. Since 1999, The Sonic Cult has been the definitive Sonic game research site that sets the standard for how the games were behind the scenes. The Sonic Cult also contains articles that confront disputes in the fanbase such as the continuity war, the "SegaSonic" myth, and even over matters relating to missing parts from the video games. It's definitely a site one would go to should they be interested in the little goodies that the games didn't have in the final cut, and the Sonic Cult maps them out with excruciating detail and offers as many graphics as they could possibly get their hands on: which is a lot. I should warn you, though. The website's atmosphere is meant solely for the mature Sonic fan, as it contains a lot of cussing, toilet humor-driven rhetoric and graphics, and even slight perversion in some articles. (That being said, I never go near the place unless they've got some particulary neat info...and depending on the game you're into, they usually do.) And the Sonic Cult's SCARZ forum is what is indisputably the most well-known and reputable forum for Sonic video game research. Like they say, Sonic Cult is meant for the "REAL" Sonic fans. You want a site that goes into major detail on how the video games were before their release? Sonic Cult is where you want to go.

Sonic HQ was one of the first sites I ever visited when I brought my fandom to the Internet back in mid 2001, and I put it here mostly out of my respect for it. Since 1998, Sonic HQ was thought of as the definitive general knowledge Sonic site before the Sonic Stadium claimed the title. Sonic HQ was the site Nuclear Envoy began learning about the Sonic Universe from before he started discovering other Sonic sites that focused on specific parts of the series. It's basically the foundation of my own trivial knowledge of the Sonic series. Although now it has turned more into a richly updated source for the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics, it used to have all of the general knowledge and even a lot of rare trivial facts that ranged to and from every single corner of the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. Right now, it still contains all of this information, but as I said, Sonic HQ is the best Sonic site out there to learn about the comics. But even other than that, it contains many other things such as fanfare contributions, editorials, the very famous Mobius Forums, information on the cartoons, games… everything! Sonic HQ has and always will be one of the best general Sonic sites out there, and as said often, you can't mess around with the classics.

The Sonic Official Art Archive is a surprisingly recent fabrication, but even from the very start, the website has quickly climbed its way up to the top and is now the best source for official Sonic the Hedgehog art ranging from his Genesis days to now. The website has nearly every single piece of Sonic art there is, and each piece of art submits fastidiously to the site's high quality standards in a vibrant, hi-definition .PNG format. A lot of the art pieces used on Concept: "Mobius" were taken from the Sonic Official Art Archive, and you can damn well bet that a lot of official art seen on other sites was taken from here. It definitely serves its purpose and delivers quite well.

Although most of the richly updated parts of this website are only in Japanese, even the parts offered in English are very interesting to read. SegaSonic Act Select is a Japanese Sonic fansite dedicated solely to Sega of Japan Sonic. The site offers a very generalized, broad range of media on the "SegaSonic" universe, and is a website I got a lot of the info seen on Concept: "Mobius" from.

Sonic Channel is the official Sonic the Hedgehog site by Sega of Japan. If you want the undisputed facts, then come here. There really isn't much else to say, and the only very cool things that come out of here other than canon info are the new character images they've released thus far.
